Gonzalo De Salas
Born in Madrid in 1974, sculptor and designer, Gonzalo de Salas arrives to the world of art like many other artists, after previously cultivating other disciplines. He cursed studies of Law in the University of Madrid, where unexpectedly he discovered his creative passion. He also worked in agencies in the advertising environment and has studies by the California Berkeley University in USA. By no means he has ceased in his artistic labor through the years, which has really been reinforced becoming the truly essence of his life.
Gonzalo de Salas, a self made artist, starts his career as sculptor in the early nineties. Initially he experiments with figurative shapes close to decorative arts, but nevertheless he acquires his maturity with a radical evolution to abstract conceptualism.
